Brief Biography

I studied Mechatronics at the Universität Stuttgart, Germany. During my studies, I worked with the research group of prof Moheimani at the University of Newcastle, Australia. I also worked for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering department of the University of Melbourne, Australia. Since 10/2014 I am working as a research assistant in the Control Systems Group headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Raisch at the Technische Universität Berlin.


The two main areas of my current research are:

Feedback control strategies for neuroprostheses based on functional electrical stimulation for gait support rehabilitation of stroke patients. Orientation, and joint angle estimation using intertial measurement units (IMU).
