- The lecture is on optimal control with engineering applications. The emphasis is on practical aspects of optimal control. The students will be introduced to the theory and the tools necessary to solve real world problems. Many applications from electrical engineering and aeronautics will be treated. At the end, the student will be able to formulate an optimization problem and solve it using the appropriate analysis and synthesis tools.
