Brief Biography

I studied electrical engineering at Supélec in France and at TU Berlin. In September 2011, I graduated both from Supélec (Diplôme d'Ingénieur) and from TU Berlin (Master der Elektrotechnik) with honors. For my master's thesis, I investigated coordinated control for max-plus-linear systems. Further, I had been an intern at Renault Trucks during the summer 2009 and a student assistant during the year 2010-2011 at the Control Systems Group at TU Berlin. Since October 2011 I am doctoral candidate at the Control Systems Group at TU Berlin supported by the Max Planck Society and jointly supervised by Prof. Raisch from TU Berlin and Prof. Hardouin from Université d'Angers. My focus is on max-plus-systems with partial synchronization (a class of discrete event systems suitable to model different phenomena in transportation networks, such as traffic lights or interconnections).
